Today blogger’s support finally restored my old blog angelchen1111.blogspot.com to me. It took me five days to actually get a response! I had to say something like “I emailed blogger support like thousands of time and there’s still no response” in order to get them reply to me. It also said that it doesn’t guarantee that they will restore the deleted blogs to us. So never ever delete your blogger’s blogs because there are always spammers watching for them!

Were you able to successfully import your old Blogger posts to WordPress? I’m having a lot of trouble, I suspect, because I host them on and ISP, not blogspot.com. I’ve seen lots of postings elsewhere suggesting that the new WP 2.2.1 Importer would do it, but alas, no.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I found the answer: can’t Import New Blogger into WP 2.2.1 unless it’s hosted on blogspot.com. There are ways, but they’re painful
I uploaded my blog from http://www.domainname.com/blog to sitename.blogspot.com and all worked well.
However, I cannot reverse the process. Instead, Blogger says “URL must not end with a path”. So, I can’t put it back in http://www.domainname.com/blog, it wants http://www.domainname.com.
Any suggestions?
