I found the answer: can't Import New Blogger into WP 2.2.1 unless it's hosted on blogspot.com. There are ways, but they're painful :-)

I uploaded my blog from www.domainname.com/blog to sitename.blogspot.com and all worked well.

However, I cannot reverse the process. Instead, Blogger says "URL must not end with a path". So, I can't put it back in www.domainname.com/blog, it wants www.domainname.com.

Any suggestions?

Were you able to successfully import your old Blogger posts to WordPress? I'm having a lot of trouble, I suspect, because I host them on and ISP, not blogspot.com. I've seen lots of postings elsewhere suggesting that the new WP 2.2.1 Importer would do it, but alas, no.

Any advice would be appreciated.
